The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multidisciplinary work, including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and be proficient in using software such as 12D, DRAINS, RORB, and TUFLOW.

A strong track record of delivering high-quality results, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams is essential for this position.

  • Develop and implement innovative stormwater drainage solutions.
  • Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities">
  • Design and lead stormwater drainage projects, incorporating hydrologic and hydraulic analysis.
  • Undertake hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using 12D, DRAINS, and other relevant tools.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Contribute to business development activities, identifying new opportunities and pursuing strategic partnerships.
  • Support the National Hydrology and Hydraulics Capability Lead in delivering exceptional client outcomes.
Requirements">
  • Proven experience (7-10 years) in civil/drainage engineering, with a focus on stormwater drainage and services coordination.
  • Strong technical skills in general civil engineering design, including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Current CPEng and/or RPEQ/RPEV certification or eligibility.
