Project Coordinator Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.

  • Develop and manage project programs
  • Regular cost forecasts and management of cost controls/reporting for allocated projects
  • Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings with stakeholders
  • Liaise closely with clients to ensure projects run smoothly and according to program
  • Prepare, review and complete subcontractor claims and variations as per contractual agreements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSEQ requirements
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors to meet project deadlines
  • Provide advice on technical and engineering issues that may impact project outcomes
  • Involved in tendering/estimation processes to secure new business opportunities
  • Create and modify ITP's and SWMS documents to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Raise RFI's and track responses from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Review tender packages and prepare subcontract agreements for signature
Key Requirements
  • 5 years experience in a similar role managing construction projects including facade replacement and Heritage restoration
  • Strong understanding and appreciation for Heritage building conservation principles
  • Leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities in a team environment
  • A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety protocols and procedures
  • Commercial acumen and contract awareness
  • Programming and planning skills to deliver projects efficiently
  • Ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Self-managing while working well in a collaborative team environment
  • Problem-solving ability and 'think outside the box' approach to resolve project challenges
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines effectively
Qualifications and Certifications
  • Construction White Card and Driver's Licence
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction or Project Management
