Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will work on-site with state-of-the-art automated sortation systems and freight handling equipment in a high-volume, high-speed environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on automated conveyor and sortation systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults quickly to minimize downtime
  • Logging jobs and updates in the MEX maintenance system
  • Maintaining tools, parts, and equipment in top condition
  • Collaborating with operations teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • A trade qualification in electrical disciplines
  • Experience working on industrial, automated, or conveyor systems
  • Strong fault-finding skills and a calm, methodical approach
  • The ability to read and interpret technical schematics
  • Willingness to learn and use CMMS platforms like MEX
