Chubb, a global leader in insurance, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team. Located in Australia and New Zealand, this role will play a crucial part in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions.

About the Role

You will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reporting on monthly internal management performance results for Chubb's Australian and New Zealand business. This will involve creating detailed financial reports, analyzing key performance metrics, and providing insights to inform business decisions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute monthly Profit and Loss Statements, premium production, commission, and expense analyses for each product and business segment.
  • Analyze and distribute financial performance metrics for relevant products lines, identifying key drivers and providing commentary to support analysis.
  • Assist with coordination and preparation of regular production and commission forecasts and annual business plans.
  • Maintain Acquisition Cost accounting, including month-end and spend-related activities, ensuring complete and accurate financial records with supporting commentary.
  • Oversee expenses general ledger and cost centre maintenance in PeopleSoft Financial System, including allocation mapping table for line-of-business/products specifically for New Zealand business unit.
  • Analyze monthly expense results, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and provide expense analysis commentary reports to management.
  • Maintain TM1 and Cognos records, providing support for production, forecast development, and TM1 management reports as needed.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in Accounting and/or Financial Management with full CPA/CA membership status.
  • 3-5 years of post-qualification commercial experience.
  • Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, highly analytical, with ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with both internal and external clients at all levels in the business.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, TM1, PeopleSoft, and Cognos, with advanced skills and demonstrated ability to use Business Intelligence tools like Qlik or Tableau.

Salary: AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience
