Position Summary:

This role is a residential position located in the scenic Hunter Valley. It comes with a family-friendly rotating 5/4 roster (rotating days and nights). Flexible work options will be considered.

About the Role:

  • Maintaining operational readiness for medical emergencies;
  • Managing clinical presentations, medical emergencies, and injury management;
  • Liaising with health advisors and other operational leaders to ensure medical / clinical management requirements are coordinated.
  • Assisting with site access systems, and front of house duties including drug testing;
  • Medical surveillance and follow-up.

About You:

  • The ability to deal with people and provide support and advice, especially in emergency situations;
  • Bachelor of Paramedical Science or Diploma in Paramedical Science;
  • Registration with AHPRA;
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence;
  • Previous exposure to Health, Safety and Environmental protocols and emergency management with paramedical care.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certificate III Mines Emergency Response and Rescue;
  • Previous exposure to drug testing;
  • On-road experience with a state-based ambulance service or defence force background.
