Job Title: Experienced Caregiver

As an experienced caregiver, you will provide high-quality clinical care to residents in a residential aged care home. You will work closely with the care team to ensure that each resident receives personalized care and attention.

This role involves providing direct nursing care to residents, acting as a team leader, and providing coaching and supervision to the personal care team. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and adhering to all policies and procedures.

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly are essential for success in this role.
  • You must have current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
  • A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes is also necessary.
  • You should have strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
  • Strong coaching/training skills and effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence are also required.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
