Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to join our team in Central Queensland. This is a full-time position that will support our upcoming projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and implementing health and safety management plans and risk registers for our projects.
  • Conduct field observations and inspections to ensure compliance with our health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Support our operations team to ensure all incidents and near misses are recorded and investigated.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to our local managers on health and safety matters.

Requirements

  • Degree in Health, Safety and Environment or a related field.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a health and safety role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
