The Role
This is a unique chance for a Registered Building Inspector or Surveyor to secure their future in a flexible, field-based position with no office attendance required. The successful candidate will conduct inspections of diverse construction projects in the Echuca and Shepparton region, ensuring compliance with all building codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial projects around Echuca and Shepparton area.
- Travel within the Echuca/Shepparton region to complete inspections, starting and finishing each day from home.
- Address on-site issues with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
- Represent the business as its professional and approachable face to clients and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registration as a Building Inspector in Victoria or New South Wales (essential).
- Comfortable with extensive driving in a regional setting.
- Experience with PermAssist is a bonus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: well-spoken, calm, and professional in dealing with clients and on-site issues.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Desire to grow with the business, taking on more responsibility over time.
