We are seeking an experienced information security professional to join our team as a Cyber Security Specialist.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Implement and maintain robust IT security controls across the organisation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain, administer, and manage IT security controls in technology, processes, and people areas, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Work closely with users and other specialists to define IT security control requirements, specifying optimal designs for their implementation, configuration, and roll-out.

**Accountabilities Include:**

  • Responding promptly to IT security issues, incidents, and requests raised through the service desk support, incident management, and various IT security technology controls.
  • Developing clear documentation and communications about IT security solutions, changes, improvements, and impacts.
  • Influencing architectural decisions and implementing and managing IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field of study, such as computer science or cybersecurity.
  • Significant experience in IT security, preferably in a leadership or specialist role.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
