Project Coordinator

Job Description:

The Infrastructure Services Division's Civil Operations Branch is seeking a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a Project Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day operational tasks of major and minor projects and programs undertaken by the Infrastructure Services Division.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the development of project scopes, resource planning, work scheduling, and coordination of job timelines
  • Managing daily operational tasks on site
  • Oversighting the work of contractors, staff, and resources as needed
  • Dealing with residents and other members of the community to ensure they are fully informed of work and safety requirements when and where applicable

The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for the supervision of plant, labour, resources, and procedures of all aspects of major and minor site projects to ensure acceptable quality, safety, and production requirements are met.

Qualifications:

Essential qualifications include:

  • 5 years experience in Civil Construction/Maintenance work
  • Civil - Certificate IV Civil Construction
  • Frontline Management Certificate IV or equivalent experience
  • WHS General Construction Induction Card (White card)
  • Civil Construction Certificate IV – First Aid Certificate
Licenses/Tickets:

Required licenses/tickets include:

  • Drivers Licence Class C
  • MR and/or HR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Traffic Controller (RIIWHS205E) and Implement Traffic Control Plans (RIIRIS301E) certifications

  • HIAB Ticket
