Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens.">
  • Certificate III in Landscape Construction.">
  • Driver's license.">

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Carry out construction tasks such as cementing, paving, and building retaining walls.">
  3. Maintain a high-standard, award-winning horticultural site.">
  4. Operate tools and machinery including zero-turn mowers.">
  5. Perform grounds maintenance: mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, planting, and pest control.">
  6. Plan daily work schedules and oversee team productivity and safety.">
  7. Complete site paperwork: pre-starts, Take 5s, daily reports, SWMS.">
  8. Communicate professionally with clients and maintain a positive site presence.">
  9. Maintain, program, and repair irrigation systems.">
  10. Monitor plant and soil health, conduct tests, and apply treatments.">
  11. Support seasonal planting and small design enhancements.">
  12. Identify and report site issues or opportunities for improvement.">
  13. Enforce WHS practices across the team.">
  14. Conduct regular site inspections for quality and safety.">
  15. Mentor and support junior staff.">
