Job Title: Senior Safety Compliance SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced HSEQ Coordinator to join our client's team based in the South-West region of Western Australia. This is a dayshift only, 7/7 roster opportunity with a competitive salary.
As the ideal candidate, you must be based within a 1-hour commute of Bunbury or willing to relocate to the area.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and administer HSEQ Management systems to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Conduct workplace inspections and assist in internal and external audits to maintain high standards of safety and quality.
- Assist in incident investigations and management to prevent future incidents.
- Manage workplace injuries and Workers Compensation claims efficiently.
- Develop and implement HSE Management Plans, SWP's, SWMS, JHA's, and Risk Assessments to mitigate risks.
- Contribute to toolbox meetings and provide training to employees on safety protocols.
- Collate and report HSE performance metrics monthly for internal and external stakeholders.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a mining environment.
- Minimum Cert IV in OHS and Certificate IV in Workplace Training highly regarded.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong knowledge of safety systems, risk mitigation, injury management, and workplace compliance.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in high-pressure environments.
- High level of computer literacy.
$70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
