Procurement and Contracts Specialist

The organisation is seeking an experienced Procurement and Contracts Specialist to deliver high-quality procurement services.

This role will lead procurement activities, including RFQs, supplier engagement, and evaluation processes. You will oversee the contract lifecycle, from drafting to tracking milestones and coordinating renewals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Supplier Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, promoting collaboration and value-adding partnerships.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution of contractual disputes.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
About You

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in procurement or contract management, preferably within a regulated setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
