We are seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary maternity team in a rural area of NSW. As a key member of our team, you will provide woman-centered care that is focused on individual needs, expectations, and aspirations to achieve optimal pregnancy outcomes for the woman and her family.
About the Role:You will work in a modern, state-of-the-art maternity unit, supporting women and their pregnancies. Our team is committed to providing a service that builds healthier rural people and thriving communities. As a midwife, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of people across varied socio-economic backgrounds and diverse ethnicities, experiencing a range of models of care.
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Midwifery or Equivalent
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Must Hold ALS and Triage Qualification
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to Remain Calm and Focused in High-Pressure Situations
- Flexibility to Work Various Shifts, Including Nights and Weekends
