Health Information Manager - Corrections and Justice Services

The role of Health Information Manager is pivotal in ensuring the accurate management of prisoner health records within the corrections and justice system. The position requires a high level of expertise in health information management, legislative compliance, and leadership skills.

This senior-level position involves oversight, direction, and quality assurance of health information requests. Key duties include:

  • Providing high-level support to the manager health information services team;
  • Leading initiatives for the development, implementation, and review of policies, procedures, and guidelines governing health information request processes;
  • Developing and maintaining standards and best practices for the efficient management of prisoner health records.

A tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or a related discipline is highly desirable for this role.
