Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Domain Architect to join our team. This is a newly created role that involves managing architecture guidance and overseeing the design of solutions that strengthen our technology environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Enterprise Architecture team and other stakeholders, immersed in our cyber security program as a key stakeholder.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong technical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills to make a real impact in an essential services organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster trust with people, customers, and community by providing expert advice and service.
  • Manage strategic architecture guidance for the Cyber and Resilience domain.
  • Develop and maintain architecture artefacts, reference architectures, and solution patterns.
  • Guide solution architecture design and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Contribute to portfolio planning, program delivery, and governance processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing credible, expert advice.
  • Lead innovation by monitoring trends, disruptive forces, and emerging technologies.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience leading technology/domain strategy and architecting services.
  • Experience on large, complex programs and working within large end-user organisations or those with complex technology architectures or infrastructure.
  • Experience developing and presenting strategic domain/technology guidance to various stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology, business, or computer science and/or equivalent knowledge gained through a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
