About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Culinary Assistant to join our team at Green Leaves Early Learning Waverley Gardens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our Chef in preparing nutritious meals, purees, and special diet meals for babies and children, as well as freshly baked treats for families daily.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with our families in a friendly manner and offering barista service (training provided if necessary).
  • Display excellent verbal, written, and time management skills with high levels of initiative.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen, adhering to Food and Council Authority requirements.
  • Collaborate with our educators to deliver culinary classes to our little learners.

About You

  • A current Food Safety Certificate.
  • A current Working with Children's Check.
  • A current Child Protection Training.
  • A current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day.
