The Role

We're seeking a seasoned Motion Design Director to lead our animation team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary creative team, you'll be responsible for championing storytelling, collaborating with artists, writers, and designers, and driving innovative motion design solutions.

Your primary focus will be on creating captivating animations for social and digital content. You'll work closely with Art Directors, Designers, and Illustrators to develop high-quality animations that resonate with our audience.

  • Manage a tight-knit team of talented Animators and Designers
  • Develop engaging storylines and scripts for animations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Illustrators, Writers, Producers, and Video Directors
  • Lead projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints
  • Continuously evaluate and improve our approach to motion design and video production
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 7 years of experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing direct reports and mentoring junior designers
  • Exceptional creative, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
