Apparent Communications is a dynamic and innovative advertising agency based in Redfern, Sydney. We are seeking an experienced Motion Design Director to lead our motion design team and drive the creation of captivating video content.

We believe that motion design has the power to engage audiences on an emotional level, and we are looking for someone with exceptional storytelling skills to join our team. As a Motion Design Director, you will be responsible for managing a tight-knit team of animators and designers, coordinating projects from concept to delivery, and ensuring that every element of a video fits seamlessly together.

A successful candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in motion design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to operate in a fast-paced creative environment, and have a strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are passionate about motion design, have a keen eye for detail, and are able to inspire and motivate a team, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of motion designers and animators
  • Develop and implement creative concepts for video projects
  • Coordinate projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion
  • Maintain a high standard of quality in all work produced
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of experience in motion design
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
