The Role

We are seeking an experienced Meat Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our butchery department, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service by being friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable about our products.

  • You will maintain a good knowledge of our products by completing internal training and having a genuine interest in good food and a wide range of fruit & veg, cheese, meat, seafood, and grocery products.
  • You will accurately process sales through the register and ensure careful cash handling while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised working and shopping environment.
  • You will also be required to perform tasks such as restocking shelves, lifting shopping bags, and conducting stocktakes using devices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide great customer service.
  • Flexibility to work in various areas of the store and adapt to changing situations.
  • A good understanding of product information and the ability to answer customer queries.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and provide constructive answers to enquiries and complaints.
