About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our team. As a technical specialist, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and productionizing business-driven applications across multiple teams and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage delivery and collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and citizen developers to develop quality solutions aligned to target architecture and best practices.
  • Contribute to controlled programs and sprints with technical/business owners to ensure rapid deployment, testing, and continuous improvement of engineered applications.
  • Coach and mentor team members to build capability and adapt a shared development and innovation process, tools, and language.
  • Act as an escalation point for high-priority issues and provide support outside of normal business hours when required.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of technology experience, with 5+ years of application development experience.
  • Experience working on projects in financial institutions or other regulated environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting or demoing to an audience.
  • Experience with Agile methodology, start-up frameworks, and Lean IT.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
