Resort Bar Leadership Position

The role of a Bar Operations Manager is pivotal in driving the success of our bars operation. As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day leadership and strategic direction to maximise financial returns, drive team development, and create exceptional guest experiences.
You will establish performance goals, provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance performance. You will oversee staffing actions, implement policies, and ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Establishing clear performance expectations for team members
- Oversight of staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, and development
- DIRECTOR level input on labour costs within the operation
- Educating and training team members in quality and service standards
- Promoting teamwork and quality service through effective communication and collaboration
In addition, you will be expected to:
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop services and programs that meet or exceed guest expectations
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in Hotel Management, or related field plus 4+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of wines, beer, spirits, and whisky
- Exceptional customer service skills working in a luxury resort environment
- Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- At least 2 years experience in a resort-style bar leadership role
