This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical care to residents in residential aged care homes.

About the Role:

  • Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Maintaining a cooperative team spirit and supporting colleagues
  • Working safely to protect yourself, colleagues and residents while following all policies and procedures

To succeed you'll need

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Diploma of Nursing or similar
  • A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Good coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • A strong customer-centric approach to business
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Willingsness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
