As a Key Fleet Coordinator at a leading logistics firm, you will play a pivotal role in implementing daily transportation strategies to meet customer demands across Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively allocate and schedule drivers/subcontractors to achieve timely workloads while minimizing costs.
  • Supervise subcontractors and fleet requirements to ensure efficient completion of daily tasks.
  • Manage transport documentation, including load weights/time constraints, PODs, driver run sheets, transfers, and RDOs.
  • Maintain close communication with on-site customers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure accurate KPI reports align with customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a Transport Allocator/Scheduler in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • In-depth understanding of load configurations, weights, and truck trailer allocation principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Good knowledge of compliance regulations, including CoR, OH&S, fatigue management, and mass limits.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • A relevant qualification in logistics, business, or supply chain management (Cert IV or above desirable).
