About this Role
We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our construction and procurement functions. This critical position will oversee the delivery of complex projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and effective management of site/project engineers.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of EHS, quality, and sustainability standards. They will also be adept at resolving design and coordination issues, leading teams, and managing subcontractors effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the construction and procurement functions
- Manage site/project engineers
- Oversight of construction planning, productivity, sustainability, EHS compliance, quality assurance, and financial management
- Mentor junior staff
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
Requirements
- 7+ years of on-site construction delivery experience
- Proven track record on large-scale building projects
- Strong skills in programme development, cost control, and risk management
- Experience resolving design and coordination issues
- Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively
- Deep understanding of EHS, quality, and sustainability standards
- Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
