Career Transition Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Career Transition Specialist to join our team in Murray Bridge. As a key member of our employment services team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs and creating personalised action plans.
  • Conduct career assessments and help clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
  • Utilise sales strategies to work collaboratively and network with community organisations to create opportunities for participants.
  • Assist participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  • Refer participants through training, counselling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience in customer service, client-facing, or an administrative role.
  • Time management, organisational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise to achieve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with well-developed verbal and written skills, and the ability to conduct client assessments, develop case plans, and case notes and reports.
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
  • Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer skills.
