Nursing Professionals for Cancer Care

We are seeking dedicated Nurses to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment within our 39-chair Day Oncology Unit.

About the Unit:
  • The Unit provides comprehensive cancer care that truly makes a difference in patients' lives.
  • Our team understands every patient's journey with cancer is unique, which is why we have developed a unique approach to cancer care.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver compassionate and empathetic patient care.
  2. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients with cancer.
  3. Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  4. Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-care.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse (IV Qualified).
  • Minimum two years postgraduate experience in acute nursing.
  • Oncology experience preferred.
  • Competent in chemotherapy administration and display proficiency in cannulation and associated treatments (desirable).
  • Completion of Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course (desirable).
