Counselling Services Coordinator

Job Overview: Centrecare is seeking an experienced Counsellor to join our team in the Esperance-Goldfields region. As a Counsellor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health and wellbeing services to clients.
This position involves conducting comprehensive client assessments, developing tailored case plans, and providing place-based low-intensity support and psychological interventions to clients. You will also be responsible for assessing and ensuring that support services align with client requirements, referring and assisting clients in accessing specialist services and support groups, responding to clients in crisis situations, and facilitating group sessions when necessary.
Requirements:
- A minimum Bachelor's degree qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, Counselling, Childhood Development, or related disciplines.
- A minimum 3 years' experience in counselling individuals, couples, and families.
- Relevant experience in working with children and families with complex needs.
- Experience in case management and coordination of client services.
- Knowledge and experience in early intervention and prevention program services.
- Highly developed clinical skills and knowledge.
- A current Class 'C' driver's license and own vehicle.
- National Police Clearance within 12 months of validity.
- Working With Children Check or eligibility to apply.
