Major Projects Operations Manager

This is a leadership position overseeing project delivery and client relationships across the Hunter Valley region. The successful candidate will manage a team of Project Managers and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the execution of major projects, including new equipment assembly, machine rebuilds, and shutdowns.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a culture that prioritizes safety and team wellbeing.
- Support Project Managers in delivering high-impact projects on time and within scope.
- Built strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
- Promote solutions for after-sales growth.
- Develop initiatives to improve performance, equipment reliability, and reduce maintenance costs.
- Track and manage Work in Progress effectively.
- Coordinate major project work, including new machine assembly and shutdowns.
- Provide customer support and communication to key contacts.
- Proven experience in management or technical roles in mining or heavy equipment industries.
- Desirable qualifications in Engineering, Management, or Business.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with technical data interpretation.
- Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills.
