This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by maintaining and growing our environmental team to support our urban development works. You will develop and refine reporting lines, systems, and procedures with best practice in mind. There will be a strong focus on business development, winning, and delivering new projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement environmental projects in due diligence, contaminated land investigations, risk assessment, and remediation.
- Manage and structure a team of environmental professionals to achieve project goals.
- Provide expert advice on current environmental legislation, standards, and guidelines.
- Lead project management efforts in relevant industry sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, builders, developers, architects, urban planners, and project managers.
- Utilize computer software such as ESdat, gINT, ProUCL, Surfer, and GW Chart to support project delivery.
- Degree qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience delivering environmental projects in relevant sectors.
- Sound knowledge of current environmental legislation, standards, and guidelines.
- Proven project management expertise in relevant industry sectors.
- Experience managing/structuring a team.
- Demonstrated client contact, liaison, and management skills.
- Demonstrated skills in field sampling techniques.
- Established relationships with industry stakeholders.
- Computer software experience using ESdat, gINT, ProUCL, Surfer, and GW Chart.
- A driver's license.
- Honesty, integrity, and a commitment to driving FMG's core values.
