About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Symal, a leading construction and infrastructure company. As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting our Commercial Lead with financial and reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare weekly asset billing reports in conjunction with Asset Allocations teams.
  • Assist with the preparation of Business Unit P&L and Balance Sheets.
  • Prepare monthly asset utilisation and cost/revenue reports, and assist with GM Review Packs.
  • Attend to billing queries from project teams, provide credits and follow up on missing billings.
  • Prepare monthly yard expense reports.
  • Assist the head office Finance team with finance queries and requests.
  • Manage a site-based Project Administrator.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in accounting, business or similar.
  • Completion of a CA or CPA qualification, or nearing completion.
  • Similar experience in a business partner capacity or management accountant capacity.
  • Experience working with operations teams and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Plant & Equipment, or similar industries such as Construction, Resources/Manufacturing, Logistics.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency across IT.
  • Attentive to detail, can manage time well and great organisation skills.
