Senior Leader in Financial Risk Management

This is a Senior Leadership position within the second line of defence risk management function, responsible for safeguarding the integrity and reputation of the organization.
The job holder will lead the formulation and delivery of a best-practice financial crime compliance framework across the organisation. They will ensure alignment of financial crime programs with strategic business objectives and risk appetite.
Duties include:
- Leading a team in Financial Crime Compliance
- Advising senior leadership and business units on compliance matters
- Overseeing monitoring activities to ensure operational adherence to legal and regulatory obligations
- Driving capability-building initiatives across the first line of defence
- Preparing timely and insightful reports for senior stakeholders on financial crime risks and controls
To be considered, you will have:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in risk management within the financial services sector
- At least 5 years' senior-level experience in financial crime compliance
- Strong working knowledge of legislative environments related to financial crime
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic transformation
- Proven leadership and people management capabilities
