Megaport, a global leader in Network as a Service (NaaS), is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join its Brisbane-based team. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for all aspects of group reporting, including internal and external reporting, compliance with ASIC and ASX requirements, and management of group financial reporting.

The Role
Reporting to the Corporate Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for managing group financial reporting, assessing and refreshing group accounting policy, and working closely with the finance team, CFO, external auditors, and advisors to prepare financial statements and external market releases.

    • Prepare consolidations for the Megaport Group, ensuring integrity of financial data within the consolidation reporting system, D365, on a monthly basis.
    • Perform eliminations and post-consolidation entries on a monthly basis and for forecasts and budgets.
    • Prepare consolidated financial reports to deliver high-quality information to senior internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide insightful analysis of Megaport Group's financial results.
    • Prepare Board and ASX reporting packs.
    • Proactively develop and maintain the reporting system, managing and developing changes and enhancements as required.
    • Manage and consolidate Corporate entities and deal with auditors regarding audit queries.

Requirements
As a Financial Consolidation Expert, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

    • CA or CPA - essential requirement.
    • Highly numeric and analytical skills with 3+ years of post-qualification experience in consolidation accounting, preferably from a large entity with international group entities and consolidations.
    • Strong technical accounting background in IFRS.
    • Track record of ASX reporting desirable.
    • Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.
    • Strong computer skills, including Office and cloud-based systems.
    • Exposure to Workiva and D365 software sets highly desirable.
