At Grace Care Centre, we manage a diverse portfolio of properties that vary in size, age, and services. As we enhance our collection of residences, we are refurbishing some while constructing new, modern care facilities. This commitment to our properties necessitates skilled individuals who are passionate about maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
As a Maintenance Operative, you will take pride in the premises you oversee, including the adjacent gardens. You will build relationships with our residents and their families, encouraging their involvement in maintaining their living spaces. Your responsibilities will include essential tasks such as managing heating and lighting systems, ensuring the structural integrity of the building, conducting regular inspections of the boiler and water systems, and performing all necessary health and safety evaluations.

Grace Care Centre is a 51-bed care home situated on the outskirts of a historic town, offering specialized dementia and residential care in a comfortable, homely atmosphere.

ABOUT YOU
You will possess experience in a comparable maintenance role with strong practical skills. A Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Facilities Services (or equivalent) is advantageous but not mandatory. You should feel comfortable in an elderly care environment, demonstrating the ability to connect with our residents in a caring and sensitive manner.
With confidence in working independently, a positive attitude, and effective communication skills, you will prioritize your tasks to meet the needs of the facility and its residents, ensuring a well-maintained environment for everyone involved.
