Salary and Benefits

The salary for this Occupational Therapist position is estimated to be between $90,000 and $115,000 per year, plus superannuation. In addition to the base salary, employees are eligible for a bonus paid quarterly, which can significantly impact their overall earnings. A travel allowance of $8,000 per year is also provided to support employees in their work-related activities.

Job Description

This Occupational Therapist role involves providing high-quality therapy and interventions for NDIS participants. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' clinical experience, preferably in the NDIS sector, and a strong focus on delivering exceptional service and supporting participants to achieve their goals. The role requires proactive and flexible individuals who can work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing therapy and interventions for NDIS participants
  • Engaging and supporting participants to optimise the achievement of personal goals
  • Proactively managing caseloads, including referrals for psychosocial disabilities and physical impairments
  • Performing home, ADL, and functional capacity assessments
  • Completing detailed notes and reports
  • Assisting with assistive technology and home modifications
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and working closely with Allied Health Assistants to optimise outcomes for participants
  • Traveling to visit clients around Melbourne and working from the St Kilda office or home

The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, be able to prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain accurate records. They will also be committed to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.

  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
