Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Specialist

In this key role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our environmental strategy and contributing to our mission of advancing sustainability.

The Environmental Sustainability Specialist will be responsible for delivering environmental monitoring and management objectives by engaging with consultants, supporting change management processes, and providing guidance to site teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of internal and external contacts, including the Pre-Mining Studies Team, Regional Environmental Team, and external contractors and consultants.

You will have the chance to work on fauna and flora-related projects, ensuring safe working practices and managing budgets. Your strong communication, interpersonal, and self-management skills will be essential in this role.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Zoology, Conservation Biology, or a related field; or post-graduate qualifications in Ecology or relevant field experience.
  • Proven experience working on fauna and/or flora-related work.
  • Experience in project management, budgeting, and contractor management is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in ensuring safe working practices.
