We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to lead our Commercial team in Brisbane, delivering cost management services across multiple projects in the Commercial and Industrial sectors.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.



Job Description


  2. Pre-contract cost planning: Develop cost plans during design stages of projects to ensure accurate budgeting and minimize risks.
  3. Post-contract progress claims: Assess and settle progress claims with clients to ensure timely payments.
  4. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow our client base.
  5. Team Management: Lead and manage a high-performing team of cost managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  6. Commission Management: Ensure effective commission management, ensuring all commissions are accurately processed and reported.
  7. Sector Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Industrial and Hi-tech sector teams, driving growth and excellence.
  8. Work Independently: Take ownership of deliverables, working independently to achieve targets and deadlines.


Qualifications


  • A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management equivalent.
  • An outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing teams.
