The International Society for Bayesian Analysis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to join our team. As a leading organization in the field of Bayesian analysis, we are committed to advancing knowledge and innovation in research design.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics and experience in Bayesian adaptive clinical trials. They will be responsible for collaborating with our cross-disciplinary team of clinicians, statisticians, data scientists, and informaticians to design and analyze transformative clinical research.
About YouWe are looking for a motivated and emerging academic in Bayesian statistics who has a PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline. The ideal candidate will have a developing research profile, a demonstrated familiarity with statistical software, and a developing network of relationships with academic, consumer/advocacy, industry, and/or professional organizations.
The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and have experience in supervising or mentoring others and/or coordinating team activities. They will also have a developing knowledge and understanding of the key strategic issues in the higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the team to design and analyze clinical research studies
- Develop and apply Bayesian methods to adaptive clinical trials
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and students
- Contribute to the development of the team's research agenda
