About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to join our Health Economics and Outcomes Research team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading and conducting analyses of clinical data to inform reimbursement submissions to PBAC/MSAC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform analyses using raw patient-level and published clinical data to inform development of reimbursement strategies, submissions, and feasibility assessments for pipeline products.
  • Author and input into reimbursement submissions to PBAC/MSAC.
  • Contribute to understanding evidence gaps and the development, analysis, and interpretation of real-world data generation activities.
  • Provide education and training to other employees in the business on statistical concepts and methods.
  • Collaborate with internal regional and global stakeholders to keep up-to-date on relevant data-related activities and analyses.
  • Engage with external customers, including consultants, Department of Health, and PBAC/MSAC Secretariat, as necessary.
Requirements
  • A minimum of Postgraduate tertiary qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, Life Science, Medical, or related degree.
  • Related industry experience, especially in the Pharmaceutical industry (including CRO or consulting) or biostatistics experience in academia or government.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based medicine and demonstrated advanced ability to plan, analyze, interpret, and communicate medical and scientific data.
  • Highly curious, able to work independently, and motivated by self-learning.
