Job Title

The North West Regional Hospital is seeking a Stores and Loan Set Coordinator to manage the rotation of stock and non-stock consumables and other supply items, and to support and maintain an efficient surgical service at Operating Theatres.

The role requires organisational skills pertaining to stock procurement and replenishment, with knowledge of medical consumables and the perioperative environment. Additionally, it requires the ability to work within a dynamic team, including working directly with the Nurse Unit Manager and responding to critical situations in a timely manner.

The successful applicant will have sound knowledge of OH&S standards within a perioperative environment. They will also be able to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the rotation of stock and non-stock consumables and other supply items.
  • Support and maintain an efficient surgical service at Operating Theatres.
  • Work within a dynamic team, including working directly with the Nurse Unit Manager.

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requiring excellent time management and organisational skills. A high level of discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information is required.

Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g. Health Services Management, Supply Chain Management).
  • Experience in a similar role within a health services setting.
