">Job Description:We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to visit an elderly woman who lives alone and would greatly appreciate friendly company each week. She enjoys reading, sewing, gardening, and taking walks. Sharing stories and smiles could bring warmth and connection to her week in a truly meaningful way.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:- Must be 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by the organization
Visits can be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
">Benefits:Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
