Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Service Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions to our customers.

The role involves travel to various sites within Pakenham and surrounding areas to replace hoses in breakdown situations or complete new installation work on machinery. The ideal candidate will have trade/field services experience in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics, excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver consistent, accurate, high-quality field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions to customers.
  • To provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers.
  • To operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately.

This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to arrange and plan priorities, anticipate problems, and be proactive in finding solutions. A strong understanding of customer service, OHS, and Safe Work Practices is essential.

Requirements:
  • Trade/field services experience in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics.
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately.
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
  • Desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to arrange and plan priorities.
  • Anticipate problems and be pro-active in finding solutions.
  • Strong understanding of customer service.
  • Have an understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices.
  • Medically fit for the task.
  • Be well presented and groomed.
  • Trade certificate.
  • A current MR Drivers' License and willing to obtain an MR License.
  • Flexibility with working hours as after-hours availability is a pre-requisite.
