Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Porter to join our team at an exclusive adults-only boutique hotel. As a Porter, you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome and departure to all guests and visitors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle guest luggage efficiently and securely.
  • Aware of daily activities, special events, and VIP arrivals.
  • Assist with arrivals and departures processing and transfers.
  • Maintain transport vehicles and buggies in a safe, clean, and operable condition.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members. Strong attention to detail and time management skills are also essential.

To be successful, you will need:

  • 6-12 months experience within a porter position in a 4-5 Star Hotel or Resort.
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
  • Able to treat each guest with a personal, attentive, and refined level of seamless 5-star service.
  • A current open manual QLD drivers licence.
  • Ability to obtain a Restricted Drivers Authorisation (RDA).
