About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Governance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the effective management of information across the corporation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information management, with experience in data governance, risk management, privacy, security, quality, metadata management, interoperability, lifecycle management, and electronic content management.

Key responsibilities will include leading the development of frameworks and standards, defining and supporting strategies, projects, and activities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand and improve their data.

You will also be responsible for providing advice and support to key data roles within the Accountability and Empowerment Framework and Information Management Framework.

Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification in Information Management or Information Technology or equivalent
  • Substantial operational experience in data management and information governance in a Utility/Resources industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of information compliance including legislative obligations, and information management risk
  • Great understanding of the information management lifecycle practices, electronic content management systems, business analysis, and stakeholder and change management
