Mobile Payments Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Analyst to join our team in delivering a high-profile payments project.

This 6-month contract role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes. As the Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test strategies, schedules, and reports.

You will also design and execute manual test cases using Jira/Xray, ensuring traceability between requirements and test cases. Additionally, you will conduct peer reviews of test assets to maintain quality.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining test strategies, schedules, and reports
  • Designing and executing manual test cases using Jira/Xray
  • Ensuring traceability between requirements and test cases
  • Conducting peer reviews of test assets to maintain quality
  • Delivering System, Integration, End-to-End, Regression, and UAT testing
  • Identifying and escalating defects with clear documentation
  • Preparing and reviewing test documentation and data
  • Supporting the set-up and configuration of test environments
  • Recording and tracking test execution results in Jira
  • Contributing to evaluating overall test success criteria

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record as a Senior Test Analyst, preferably in SIT-heavy projects
  • A background in mobile applications or payment/POS systems testing
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira and other testing tools
  • The ability to commit to a 6-month, full-time contract based in Melbourne CBD
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent collaboration skills
