About the Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our Out of Home Care team on a casual basis. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for transporting young people to and from placement and school, as well as providing support and care to those in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport young people to and from placement and school
  • Provide support and care to young people in our care
  • Work with a trauma-informed lens to support young people who have experienced complex trauma
  • Use our pool cars for transports

About You
  • A Certificate IV in Youth Work, Family Work, Community Development or similar
  • Experience working with young people who have experienced significant trauma
  • An understanding of how trauma can affect the development of young people
  • Excellent verbal and collaborative communication skills
  • An empathy with Anglicare Victoria's Values and Mission to do better for Children, Young People and Families
