About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our elderly customers to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide social support during these visits.
  • Deliver complex care to customers with high care needs, such as dementia, with compassion and understanding.

What We Look for in a Care Worker
  • You are passionate about assisting our aged community and have a genuine desire to make a difference in their lives.
  • You have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel to support our customers.
  • You are able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers above all else.
  • You are available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with a flexible approach to scheduling.
  • You are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to seek support from your Manager.
