Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing timely, efficient, and effective services to clients of Domiciliary Care, promoting their independence at home and preventing premature and/or inappropriate admission to residential care facilities or long stay hospital beds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cleaning and shopping services to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Undertake laundry duties as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the Domiciliary Care team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Adhere to SA Health's policies and procedures, including immunisation requirements and criminal history checks.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
