About the Role:

  • Develop and deliver client-facing programs within Carer Services to support the needs of carers.
  • Provide emotional support and practical assistance to carers and their families, enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess and plan for carers' needs, ensuring they receive comprehensive care and support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local community groups and service providers to foster partnerships and collaborations that benefit carers and their families.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor-level qualifications in Health, Behavioural Sciences, Social Sciences, or Welfare.
  • Experience working with carers and families, with a strong understanding of disability, aged, mental health, or community services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to provide emotional support and practical assistance to carers and their families, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
