About the Role

The Australian Red Cross Lifeblood is seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Milk Donor Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building relationships with breastmilk donors and providing them with evidence-based lactation practices and collection of the required breastmilk to meet patient needs in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in relation to milk collection and donor care
  • Support breastfeeding women with evidence-based lactation practices
  • Collect and process breastmilk in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure donor safety and product quality
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA and current Annual License Certificate
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting breastfeeding women
  • Phlebotomy skills and current driver's license
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clinical assessments and integrate clinical knowledge into practice
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
